30th Annual Tulare County Job Fair Helps Local Businesses Meet Recruitment Needs

For 30 years, the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County, in partnership with Employment Connection of Tulare County, has helped connect local businesses to job seekers at the largest job fair in Tulare County.

The Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County, in partnership with the Employment Connection of Tulare County, is proud to host the 30th Annual Tulare County Job Fair on Wednesday, September 30, 2022, at the Visalia Convention Center from 9:00 – 12:00 pm.

Over the past two years, the pandemic, rising inflation, and now record low unemployment numbers in Tulare County have made it difficult for local businesses to fill open positions. The 30th Annual Tulare County Job Fair will allow businesses to connect with hundreds of individuals looking for work.

“Today, more than ever, local businesses are struggling to connect with potential employees. The T businesses to reach hundreds of potential employees simultaneously. This is an opportunity for businesses to showcase what makes them a great place to work and get a chance to put a face to the resume they are reviewing.” stated Monica Andrade, Tulare County Job Fair Coordinator.

Job seekers will have access to job leads, on-the-spot interviews, resume reviews, and an opportunity to discuss their qualifications and experience with local employers. This year the job fair will feature local businesses that are hiring for more than 1,000 open positions ranging from entry-level warehouse workers to registered nurses, office administration, and much more. Job seekers will meet employers from many sectors, including education, healthcare, transportation, logistics, warehousing, construction, public safety, retail, food services, and more. In addition to local employers, the job fair will feature partners who provide vocational training opportunities and resources for job seekers looking to learn new skills or change industries.

The 30th Annual Tulare County Job Fair is a free event for job seekers. In honor of their service to our nation, Veterans will be allowed to enter the job fair at 8:30 a.m.
