New Unemployment Claims by Week
The Chart below provides data from the Employer Development Department (EDD). The data shows the number of New Unemployment Benefit claims opened each week in Tulare County.
Through February and into March, Tulare County averaged about 500 new claims each week. The first significant jump in new claims happened the week ending March 21st.
This data is now being updated and sent to local workforce boards weekly.
