Session 1: Introducing the Training Resources Aligned for Industry Needs (TRAIN) Network 
We are thrilled to invite you to the official launch of the Tulare/Kings County TRAIN Network, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at aligning education with industry needs and fostering collaboration among key stakeholders in our community.  We’ll also delve into the crucial concept of sector partnerships and glean insights from experts in the field.

Purpose of the TRAIN Network

  • Aligning training investments, grants, contract education to optimize resources

  • Meeting the evolving needs of local priority industries (Health Care, Manufacturing, Logistics & Transportation, Agriculture)

  • Acknowledging and proactively tackling challenges

  • Creating sustainable talent pipelines to drive regional growth

  • Welcome and Introduction to the TRAIN Network: Learn about the mission and goals of the TRAIN Network and you and your organization aims to shape the future of education and training in Tulare and Kings County. 

  • Presentation on Sector Partnerships: Gain valuable insights industry experts into the importance and benefits of sector partnerships in aligning education and workforce development with industry needs. Experts will share their experiences, challenges, and best practices in fostering successful sector partnerships. 

  • Interactive Discussions: Engage in meaningful discussions and brainstorming sessions with peers and experts to explore collaborative opportunities and goal setting within the TRAIN Network. 

  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow Training Providers, industry representatives, and stakeholders to forge partnerships and collaborations. 

 
Session 2: ETPL Training: Empowering Staff for Success
Join us for an enriching and informative afternoon session dedicated to equipping Tulare County Eligible Training Provider List staff with the tools and knowledge needed to excel. Let's work together to empower our staff and drive success in training and employment initiatives.

Tulare County Training Provider Staff with an ETPL role including:

  • Roles and Responsibilities: Clarify the roles of ETPL staff and how they contribute to its success. 

  • ETPL Training Guidelines: Explore best practices, procedures, and guidelines for effective ETPL training implementation. 

  • Interactive Sessions: Engage in hands-on activities and discussions to enhance your skills and knowledge reporting ETPL information and performance. 

  • Case Studies and Examples: Learn from examples and case studies to better understand how to navigate challenges and maximize opportunities. 

  • Q&A and Open Discussion: Share insights, ask questions, and brainstorm ideas with your peers to foster collaboration and innovation.
