Employment Opportunity with the Workforce Investment Board or Tulare County
As the economy continues to evolve and grow, it's essential for communities to invest in their workforce. This is especially true in Tulare County, where the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) plays a crucial role in leading workforce development efforts.
One of the key ways that the WIB supports workforce development is by partnering with community colleges, K-12 districts, cities, and economic development entities. This collaborative approach ensures that the programs and services provided by the WIB are tailored to the specific needs of the local community.
By working closely with our partners, the WIB can provide valuable resources and support to individuals looking to gain new skills and advance their careers. This might include job training programs, job placement services, and career counseling. But the benefits of workforce development go beyond just helping individuals find good jobs. Investing in the workforce also helps to strengthen the local economy. When people have the skills and training they need to succeed in the workforce, they are more likely to be productive and contribute to the community's overall success.
The WIB is seeking to fill two Workforce Development Coordinator positions.
The Workforce Development Coordinator will play a key role in the following:
- Coordinating regional initiatives and partnerships
- Working with education and industry partners to develop career pathways for good jobs
- Supporting training investment made by the WIB
