Employment Connection Committee (ECC)
The Employment Connection Committee is a committee of the WIB that engages with Community Partners, Service Providers, and the Public for the ongoing development and implementation of the Employment Connection System.  Currently, our Employment Connection Committee meets quarterly at 10:00 am on the third Wednesday of the specified month.  Our 2022 meeting time begins at 10:00 am, dates are listed below.

WIB Youth Committee 

The Youth Committee provides expertise that assists the WIB with planning, operational, and other issues relating to the provision of services to youth. The Committee and Board envision a comprehensive system, with a full range of services and opportunities that integrate the themes of youth development with workforce development and hold youth, including disconnected youth, at the center of that vision.

ADVISORIES of the executive director

Sector Advisories represent high growth/high wage/ career path sectors as defined by County economic trends. Advisories are chaired by a WIB member with membership made of private sector representatives from each cluster industry. The Advisories define workforce issues facing each sector, develop and approve Customized Training and Employer Training Panel agreements; serve as an industry advisory group for career technical training; and review WIB expenditures for training within each sector. There are two active Sector Advisories as of 2017:
