The Employment Connection centers are strategic in upgrading the basic and occupational skills of both incumbent
workers and those newly entering the workforce.

This is accomplished by becoming effective + efficient in career programs and services.


Offering a highly-skilled, motivated workforce is a major consideration for locating and expanding businesses. A strong One-Stop system is a major step in promoting economic development in Tulare County. By doing so, Tulare County is poised to retain and attract high-quality jobs to the area.

JOB SERVICES

  • Job Centers
    provide job search and career development services for all, including training, workshops, hiring events, and much more.

     

  • Occupational Skills Training financially assists with in-demand trainings in Tulare County. The program provides scholarship assistance for tuition, textbooks, and other required supplies for training.
     

  • Work-Based Training
    is paid training paid for individuals who are placed with local businesses to complete meaningful tasks. Individuals learn new skills, upgrade, or refreshes current skills with the intent to gain employment.
